What is offset printing?

What is digital printing?
Digital printing is the direct printing from a file using a high quality laser printer. This eliminates the need to create plates and this there is very little set-up cost. This allows us to print small quantities at reasonable cost with a 24 hour turnaround if required.
What is gang-printing?
Gang printing is a method used in Offset printing where several different jobs are printed on one large sheet of paper and then cut to finished size.Gang printing saves alot of money by reducing press time, paper waste and set up costs. We pass these savings to you.
What's the difference between a flyer and a brochure?
A flyer is a single flat sheet of paper or card while a brochure is a sheet of paper folded. Most Pizza shop menus are in fact brochures although many people might refer to them as flyers.
What does "pp" mean?
"pp" stands for "printed pages" and refers to the number of sides of paper printed on and not the actual number of sheets of paper. For example: a sheet of paper folded in two is 4pp
What file types do you accept?
The main file type we accept is PDF. Although we can accept JPEG, Photoshop and Illustrator files.

Why shouldn't I submit a JPEG file?
JPEG files are in a compressed format. This means the image quality is sacrificed in order to decrease the size of the file.Often the effects of this compression are not apparent until the file is already printed.
What does GSM mean>
GSM stands for grams per inch. It measures the weight of the paper. The weight of the paper is usually a good indication of the thickness of the paper.
What is CMYK?
CMYK stands for Cyan Magenta Yellow blacK.These are the ink colours that are combined to create a printed image.It is very important to submit artwork in a CMYK format to ensure that colours are recreated accurately.
What is RGB?
RGB stands for Red Green Blue. These are the pixel colours combined to create an image on a computer monitor.Artwork submitted in RGB format will mean that colours are not recreated accurately.
What is Celloglaze?
